My Story

Travel has been and is a huge privilege and love of my life and it has influenced me massively in the way I think and things I do and how I live. Travel makes me want to capture every new thing in every new place - the culture shock, local faces, food, smells and moments, the way the sunlight fills a fruit market, or an alleyway, or an old building, an old lady selling vegetables, a child playing in the street - I want to have those moments forever. 

I have lived and taught English in southern China and the juiciest-orange-filled streets of Seville, got lost in the Moroccan souks and climbed waterfalls, eaten Tajine and had food poisoning in Fez, had altitude sickness on Kilimanjaro, snorkelled in the crystal clear waters of Zanzibar, picked wild blueberries in Finland, sipped 1 euro wine in Kefalonia, wandered down the cobbled streets of Amsterdam and Hamburg and Budapest and Krakow, eaten gelato and pizza in Rome, Parma, Bologna, Lecce and Milan, backpacked and partied on beaches in Thailand and Malaysia and lost myself in the beautiful chaos of India on an unforgettable 3 month overlanding trip.

I still have a long list of places I'd like to see, including more of Europe, Africa, & Asia!
